Start: Meriweather Inn, Clark Fork, Idaho
End: Caboose Motel, Libby, Montana
Mileage: 72 miles
Weather: RAIN! AGAIN!
States Conquered: Washington, Idaho
States Being Conquered: Montana
States to be Conquered: Alberta, Canada; North Dakota; Minnesota; Iowa; Illinois; Indiana; Ohio; Pennsylvania; New York; Vermont; New Hampshire; Maine
Particulars: When Hannah and I arrived at Little Joe's Montana for lunch, Joe was standing on the front deck wringing out his socks and gloves. I guess they got a little wet?
Lowell, Hannah and I decided to catch a movie in Libby, Montana. Headed to the Dome Theater to watch Shrek Forever After. Several attempts at starting and stopping the previews and the movie because of sound problems, Hannah finally said "Let's go get our money back!"
By the way, would someone please tell me significance of all the large sculptures mounted on the top of poles? They were all over Libby and were most Eagles. Makes sense because Libby is the "City of Eagles". But why the full-size car mounted on a pole?
Interesting People Along the Way: Lunch at Little Joe's Montana. The bartender, waitress and cook were one and the same.
